Visual Language :: Camouflage, Postcards, and Greeting Cards

Colorblind, Acrylic on canvas

This piece aims to address the visual language of camouflage with soft organic interlocking shapes. Camouflage is distinct in that it follows tesselated patterns that often conflict between the disambiguation of positive and negative space. Complementary colors where used to further distinguish this effect as well as lose the functionality of occlusion.

Frida and a Chango, Vinyl on concrete.

A satirical expression of Cinco de Mayo celebration in the US.

Faded, Vellum.
